Jurnal - Express Yourself1.3 - App Store

Not another social media app.
I know that's probably what you're thinking.
Honestly, I don't blame you.
Jurnal started with a simple question:
Why doesn't social media feel social anymore?
Somewhere along the way, sharing became performing. Posts became content. Conversations became engagement metrics. Instead of expressing ourselves, many of us started creating for algorithms.

I didn't build Jurnal to fix the internet.
I built it to create one place where you can step outside of it.
A place where your ideas matter more than your reach.
A place where you can simply create.
And a place where you decide who gets to see it.
Share when you want. Keep it private when you don't.
Not everything you create needs an audience.
With Jurnal, you can keep your posts just for yourself-a private space for thoughts, journals, ideas, photos, and audio-or choose to share them with your followers when you're ready.

Express yourself your way.
Write
Share thoughts, stories, journals, ideas, or anything on your mind.

Share photos
Capture moments without worrying about trends or perfect aesthetics.

Record audio
Sometimes your voice says it better than words. Record and post in seconds. No camera required.

Organize what matters.
Your interests are more than a single feed.
Create collections around your hobbies, travels, fitness, recipes, photography, books, projects, or anything else. Build ideas over time instead of letting them disappear into an endless timeline.

Discover intentionally.
Explore people through shared interests, not popularity.
Find conversations that matter to you, discover new perspectives, and connect over ideas instead of viral moments.

Built differently.
. Choose whether a post is private or shared with followers
. Public like counts stay hidden
. Writing, photos, and audio all in one place
. Organize posts into custom collections
. Follow topics and people you care about
. Designed for thoughtful expression instead of endless scrolling

Jurnal isn't trying to be the next big social platform.
It's trying to be a better one.

Version History The profile view felt too generic, so we wanted to give it more depth and personality.
You can now personalize your profile with things that actually reflect who you are — share your favorite books, TV shows, movies, and songs, update your current mood, highlight upcoming events, and keep track of goals you're working toward.
It's a small way to make your profile feel less like a profile and more like you. 1.3 Oct 3 Bug and design fixes 1.2 Aug 31 Design improvements and bug fixes 1.1 Aug 3 1.0 Aug 1
